Pialee Mukherjee The first Enid Blyton book that I possessed & read was the one I received on my seventh Birthday- 'The Mystery of the Invisible Man'. My mother read it to me... but she would get busy & I would have to hold my breath... So I started reading the book on my own!! and that same year I started collecting the Five Findoute...rs & Dog series...& the Famous Fives soon followed. Holidays were never complete without also tagging along with Julian, Dick, George.Anne or Pip,Beth, Larry,Daisy& Fred on their mystery-adventures! I was an ardent fan...
Mallika You're books gave direction to my imagination , and in your own sweet manner, you taught us to differentiate between whats good and whats bad,how doing good always helped. We took all the tips from your books on how to go about moonlight/midnight picnics in the hostel,and when i go to buy a book for my daughters, your ...name comes first to my mind.Thank you for everything.
Zaibunnisa Faisal I absolutely love your work...as a child the only English books I was interested in collecting were your stories...we still have that library as I passed the books on to my younger sisters and now I'm so keen that my kids read them too. One of my wishes is to have a complete library of your books, even though I'm 30 now :)
