The original idea of the film came from the Tura village community in Central Kalimantan. "Petak Danum Itah" or "Our Land and Water" is documentary-drama film expressing their rejection of the presence of the palm oil industry in their area that is threatening their livelihood.

The film, an expression and plight of the people of Tura will be premiered in the Erasmus Huis, Jakarta. The village head of Tura will be present there to tell the reality that his community are facing. You are welcome to come and see their work and to chat directly with people involved in the making of the film.
